Paul Freeney is one of those lucky people in life, a person that lives his passion of photography because it is what he has a natural aptitude for.
Many years ago there was only film photography. The click of the shutter was a moment of committal infused with adrenaline, followed by an eternal wait filled with doubt and an ultimate vindication on paper.
Now, thankfully the payoff is more immediate. But the gift of "an eye" is no different, either you see the image in your minds eye or you don't. The camera is only a tool, sophisticated maybe, but still just a tool.
Photography is in the minds eye, not the physical eye or the camera and Paul Freeney is lucky because that is where he works - in is 'minds eye'.
